today was major pw day.
but it was quite fun in a way!
preparing for OP.
we went to j8 to interview little kiddies for our video (:
hah. some of them were really cute! (8
but it's quite surprising, the number of little kids who dont know who steve irwin is!
shows a need for our project hehe :D

i'm so glad it's finally saturday.
training has been super tiring and it's the first time in a long long while that i've been to so many hard trainings in a row!
not to mention there were very little opportunities for an afternoon nap this week even though promos are over.
and i had to keep going back to school for swimming/pw stuff.
seriously, having a swimming booth at open house is just a waste of time and space.

rest of the year's going to be quite busy for me.
so many things/competitions going on.

thanks to the S'pore World Cup which we're MADE to swim in, we can only leave on the 29th when AIG starts on the 30th! Nuts >:(

and YES i have something to say about this. the flight's 35 hours long. yes that's right. THIRTY FIVE! and we're transiting not once, not twice, not even 3 times, but FOUR freaking times! oh my goodness. here's what the flight plan looks like:

Singapore -> Frankfurt, Germany -> Madrid, Spain -> Rio De Janerio, Brazil -> Belo Horizonte, Brazil

o.o

and including the flight back, total flight time =
35 x 2 = 70 = almost 3 days!!! :O
the competition itself is 3 days.
i'm really dreading the flying.
on the plus side we get to drop by a few countries on the way ^^

if i manage to apply successfully. I sure hope i do since i decided to reject the Mount Pleasant one for Brazil

it's going to be a busy busy holiday for me.
ah well.

being out the whole day since 5+ in the morning has really drained me.

3km, flagging off at 7.45am.
so early! but on the other hand, it won't be hot.

i still think they shouldnt flag off the men's and women's events together, i hope i don't get stampeded on/swum over/kicked/etc etc :/
got to turn in early tonight!
luckily i've finished huan huan ai :DDD so there's nothing to distract me.
